Pretty clear. Now that my stu-stu-studio is, alas, no more, I'm back in the tiny corner of our living room. Seeing as my partner is the male version, if not worse, of Monica from Friends (that is actually his nickname) I have to try and keep it reasonably tidy or be nagged. *Sigh*There's some mini alpha stamps I bought from Dunelm Mill before Christmas, the Walkman my Dad got me for Christmas... and I'm still figuring out! On top of the PC tower there is some sketchbooks I'm trying to keep close at hand so that I can fulfill my resolution of at least 10 minutes creativity every day. You can also see my amigurami Alice Cooper angel who sits on my desk throughout the year inbetween his top of the tree duties. Made by Ewa a couple of years ago :P
Oh wait - there is actually a W.I.P on top of the desk - the doll sitting on the printer is my zombie girl. She's chomping on Barbie's head. We are having issues though - she's just texture paste over a skeleton at the moment. Am thinking of covering her in clay.
I'll leave you with this scary image...
Anyone else find that as frightening as I do? I had hoped to incorporate these into a different kind of WOYWW, ran out of time. Maybe next week.Thank you as always for stopping by.
Oops, see? So long since I played I almost forgot to say: If you'd like to play along, make sure you link up with Julia; Deskmistress Extraordinaire :)
Welcome back. It's good to see you joining in the fun again. I will be watching those blank pages for developments :-)

ReplyDeleteHi Carmen, Love your Alice cooper angel! Come on, YOU, are not scared by a blank page, You shall not be defeated Missus so slap some paint across the page and make the scariness go away!!! Go here www.strathmoreartiststudio.com click workshop 1, (no its nothing you have to commit to!) and watch the 2 Tracy Bautista videos, about 30 mins long in total, and then repeat in your sketchbook, I promise you will be inspired. I watched them on Tues and had great fun for an hour creating art (I will post on my blog later).

Back in college I had a stall that sold punk barbie dolls... it was sooo satisfying punking those suckers up I must say... can't wait to see the zombie girl finished and chomping away... as to blank pages... no problem that can't be fixed by a glass or two of wine I think...happy woyww...xx
ReplyDeleteOmgeeee blank pages. Nearly collapsed in a heap then, rather you than me in terms of ownership! Lovely to see your desk again, and the zombie doll..Is almost cute! What's that in the front of the blue holder at top right? and is it an mp3 type Walkman or an original? How fun, bet it makes you look like a teenager!
ReplyDeleteHello there and hope you soon inspired to fill those empty pages. Thanks for sharing and welcome back. Happy New Year. Anne x
ReplyDeleteWhat potential those blank pages hold!!! Happy creating.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what is scarier--your tiny space (that you must keep clean) or the blank page. For sure Alice and the zombie girl are not scary. Happy belated WOYWW.
ReplyDeleteI love blank pages! So inspiring :) I can't wait to see the Zombie girl finished!
