Candle Man Giveaway

Hi all,

I've been a little quiet on the posting front, real life has a habit of getting a little to real sometimes.

Last year I think it was, I was lucky enough to win a signed copy of Candle Man by Glenn Dakin. I loved the book, it involves everything I relish - a boy with a secret, believing he has some contagious life threatening disease and kept imprisoned "for his own good." Lots of graveyard creeping, flying gargoyles, mystery, mayhem and Gothic goodness. Just needs a zombie or two to be perfection.

Goodreads blurb:

Theo Wickland lives a life of isolation - he has only ever known three people: his butler, the maid and his guardian. He has always been told this is for his own good because he is dangerous to other people. Indeed, he wears gloves at all times and has daily, intensely painful treatment in the 'Mercy Tube'. But one birthday, during his annual trip to the graveyard, Theo finds a small package addressed to him. A secret message inside it, and a visit from two burglars that proves fatal to one of them, are the catalysts for Theo to discover his deadly powers and strange inheritance. He is the descendent of the Candle Man, a Victorian crime fighter with a dark side. One touch from him and criminals melt to death. Two societies are hunting for him: one that will protect and help him and one that wants to harness his power for evil. Can Theo escape his guardian's clutches, and stop his destructive plan? And will he learn how to deal with the sometimes terrifying and confusing real world? This is a thrilling, Gothic adventure that will have readers on the edge of their seats.

I really enjoyed this book and was chuffed to bits when earlier this year I won another giveaway which was for book one and book two. (Candle Man - The Society of Dread) Which means I now have two copies of the first book. I've been meaning to do a giveaway for some time, share the love (and the giveaway karma) but just keep forgetting. Here I am now, season of goodwill and all that. If you'd like a new, unread copy of Candle Man (yeah - you're not getting my signed copy, no way Sunshine, there's goodwill and then there's extracting the proverbial!) Just drop me a comment in the box below extolling how wonderful and fabulous and gorgeous you think I am.

Or you could just say "Gimme the flipping book already!"

Your choice.

I'll draw a winner at the weekend. Thanks for stopping by :)
